So I airline travel occasionally for work doing IT tech support for various companies. Travelling with multiple computer struggle Hardware. ![]() Any thoughts are appreciated and if it is just the nature of the workflow I definitely understand, I'll just need to get more creative with responding to password resets. and I don't want them just keeping the default password I changed it to. Is there not a way to force this? It's almost like the end users are on an honor system to reset their passwords when the reason they were changed was due to phishing emails, etc. The self service access though only asks for additional information for account recovery but the user still needs to go in and reset their password manually, they aren't forced to. So in that case, I reset the password, uncheck "User must change password at next logon" in AD, then add them to a security group which allows them Self Service access in O365 to reset their password. However, there are instances during this time of year where I have staff who aren't in the building/connected to the domain. Understanding the workflow a little bit, if I reset a user's password its best/quickest for them to reset on a device within the domain to sync to AD and then up to O365 and that would be enforced by ticking "User must change password at next logon". Currently our environment is AD syncing to O365 using Azure AD Connect.
